Job Description Inside Sales Specialist Responsibilities Job brief We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative to help build the prospect pipeline and assist the sales executives in closing new sales opportunities. The successful candidates will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and interacting and supporting the outside sales people. Responsibilities Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails Establish friendly relations with prospects and maintain ongoing relations with them until they are passed off to the sales executives Manage the CRM database of prospects and contact them regularly Achieve quarterly “New Sales Opportunity Quotas” Understand the needs and expectations of the prospects and briefly discuss relevant solutions Determine who the key players are; decision maker, recommenders, etc. and their motivations behind their request for information Determine the prospects time frame for making a decision Determine who the competitors are for this opportunity; internal or external Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest Present prospect status reports on a weekly basis Maintain and expand your database of prospects Schedule online demos with prospects for sales executives Provide prospects with marketing materials, price sheets, contracts when requested by sales executives Attend sales training as will be required Periodically attend trade shows Requirements Proven inside sales experience Track record of over-achieving quota Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day Ability to analyze the market and target potential clients Proficient in handling CRM software and other common computer software such as Power Point, MS Word , Outlook and Excel Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high level of confidence Strong listening and presentation skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively BA/BS degree or equivalent Company Description ESCOWare®, our suite of managed software solutions including electric load forecasting software, was designed by former Retail Energy Provider (REP/ESCO) senior executives for the sole purpose of automating the many manual and tedious tasks that an Energy Supply Company has to deal with on a daily basis.
