Job Description
The National Aftermarket Sales Manager position is responsible for leading Lewmars Aftermarket business for the Americas and reports to the National Sales and Marketing Manager. This position requires a results driven professional with a proven track record specifically in the business of Aftermarket and Distribution. The National Aftermarket Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for managing the existing Aftermarket business and developing a strategy and sales plan to plan to grow the Aftermarket business vigorously.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Develop Aftermarket strategy and sales plan for growing Lewmars Aftermarket business.
Provide quarterly detailed review of Aftermarket sector and present to senior management which includes year to date/budget, margin analysis, new business opportunities, and competitor activity.
Develop and provide detailed annual Sales Budget for Aftermarket business.
Track and monitor Budget performance and provide forecast updates as necessary.
Develop, implement, and manage distributor programs and pricing.
Identify and target growth opportunities with existing and new distributors.
Plan and execute seasonal promotions.
Foster and maintain positive working relationships with big box retailers.
Plan, develop and execute point of sale displays.
Manage all US boat show participation, including; participation and strategic planning, coordination, logistics, and promoting brand presence as an industry leader.
Lead and coordinate organizational effort as it relates to Aftermarket business.
40 travel required, some international travel, subject to change.
Position based in Guilford, CT
Any other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:
Minimum of College Degree or a minimum of 5 years experience in a key Aftermarket Sales Management role
Boating Industry experience required
Extensive knowledge of Aftermarket Distribution required.
Effective decision::maker and problem::solver
Detail oriented, organized, self:motivated and excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail/high level of accuracy
