Job Description

Community Health Network of Connecticut, Inc. (CHNCT) seeks an IS Senior Programmer Analyst (Biz Talk Specialist) in Wallingford, CT.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the life cycle of systems development including requirement analysis through programing, testing and documentation; responsible for meeting Connecticut Department of Social Services affiliated and auditing organizations' timelines and data quality standards for data receipt and submissions and reporting; interacts with both internal and external customers on designing and implementing systems to enhance Quality Improvement initiatives that improve the health care provided to CHNCT's members; monitors data integrity of CHNCT Data Warehouse and Third Party Systems; communicates the status of projects and participates in the training of end-users on new or modified systems; works with Management Information Systems technical staff and management to define data requirements; works with the Business Systems staff to assist in requirement and specification development; provides administrative support on projects involving multiple departments or functional areas of the health plan as needed; in addition to developing and maintaining centralized computer programs, builds and supports applications and data load processes that support the efforts of the company to enhance the health care of its members.

Position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field plus five years of work experience as a programmer in a medium to large organization, including a minimum of one year in BizTalk development and configuration experience, including server architecture and set-up. Alternately, will accept a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus three years of work experience as a programmer in a medium to large organization, including a minimum of one year of BizTalk development and configuration experience, including server architecture and set-up. Position also requires: experience working in healthcare data with the ability to analyze, design and build information systems that relate to Medical Management and Quality Improvement initiatives; experience working with client-server computing architecture with the ability to work within Windows 10, Windows Server 2008 and 2012.
