Job Description People's United Bank seeks a Senior Data Quality and Lineage Engineer in Bridgeport, CT. DUTIES: Create, design and deliver standardized documentation and implement: data quality assessments and metrics through data mining, analyses and profiling activities; input/output designs for data flows utilizing IBM Data Stage, Information Analyzer and Information Governance Catalog toolset; assess critical data elements used in regulatory reports; perform impact analysis and create dashboards for all critical data elements; perform data quality reporting across the Enterprise. Identify opportunities for process improvements and tooling enhancements. Build the import processes of metadata from disparate sources to maintain integrity of the production lineage repository as part of a Data Lineage life cycle. Implement business and technical rules creating dashboards and exception reports. Provide advice, guidance and training to those consuming the Data Quality/Lineage results. Coordinate Data Quality/Lineage activities with Data Architects, Data Governance and Data Stewards. Monitor progress of all Data Quality/Data Lineage project related requests against specified definitions and metrics for data stewardship responsibilities. Support project resources in design and development of associated data project solutions. Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies. Employment Type Full Time Job Requirements . REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study and 5 years of experience as Developer, Data Quality and Lineage Engineer or Programmer Analyst. Requires 5 years of experience in each of the following: IBM Information Server, Information Analyzer and Data Stage tools; Data Quality/Data Lineage and Governance; implementing and maintaining business and technical rules; obtaining metadata and forming data lineage; performing Data Quality profiling and analysis using a profiling tool; programming in scripting languages; Business and Data Architecture; SQL and at least one relational database platform (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, and Sybase IQ); reference data and concepts of master data management life cycle; all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle; Data Architecture, Data Analytics, Transformation of Data, and Data Quality; Data Mining, Data Science and Data Analytics.
