The Learning Management (LMS) Administrator is responsible for Enterprise administration of the online learning platform for Yale New Haven Health. The LMS Administrator performs project management activities as well as analysis, design, implementation, education and end-user support of the LMS application. The LMS Administrator consults and communicates extensively with department leadership, educators and administrators. The LMS Administrator serves in a consultative role with Yale New Haven Health stakeholders to ensure online learning activities related to accreditation, licensure, program certification, regulatory, and YNHHS organizational initiatives are satisfied. The LMS Administrator has a thorough understanding of course build, assignments, report generation, application administration, administrator training, and end user support. Collaborates with YNHHS stakeholder/subject matter experts/implementation teams to execute the delivery of online learning content to meet accreditation, licensure, regulatory, and organizational needs. 2. Maintain all aspects of the LMS portal to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of content prior to publishing to users while maintaining an up-to-date and relevant online course catalog. 3. Implement best practices to optimize LMS in meeting online education needs most effectively and efficiently. 5. Collaborate with the ITS and cross functional teams to inform, prepare, and assist in the review, testing, and implementation of all system upgrades or patches, and documenting the process, results, and outcomes. 6. Monitor and test newly published/uploaded online courses, materials, and instructor-led/virtual classes within the learning management system. 7. Provide support in troubleshooting, investigating and seeking solutions to complex issues related to course design, LMS configuration and infrastructure. 8. Provide updates and recommendations to the Director of eLearning Education which will deliver a decrease in frequency and severity of LMS issues reported by end users. 9. Ensures the quality of reporting data within the LMS to provide accurate and timely completion/compliance status to meet accreditation, licensure, regulatory audits and surveillance. 10. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor of Science in educational technology, human resources, business administration, information technology or healthcare related field. Advanced classes in adult education, instructional design or graphic design beneficial. EXPERIENCE Three to five years recent experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Previous adult education or staff development experience, learning management system administration, or similar system experience desired. Proficiency in MS Office applications, eLearning development tools/authoring software, in-person and virtual classroom management applications. Basic HTML coding skills preferred. LICENSURE N/A SPECIAL SKILLS Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized - Proven ability in managing simultaneous projects to meet business goals and objectives - Ability to coordinate with diverse, cross-functional teams - Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to deliver clear, concise information and direction to customers - Highly technology literate; quickly learns new applications and tools - Ability to maintain a professional attitude and work independently with little guidance in a fast paced, changing environment. *CB*
